Winter is over

Yesterday was the last day in winter session. That means no more school for this semester and winter session is really over. I'm so glad. I was sick of sitting in the class 3 1/2 hrs everyday. Today i went school and got the result. I got an A =) It wasn't a very hard class, but i kind of worry about next level. I hope i will do well. There're so many things happened in the last few weeks. Fortunately, most of them are good. I'm so excited for the next semester, should be a good ones. Spring semester begins next week. I know i will be super busy with all my classes, work and excercise, oh well.... I'm so nervous for my Biology class. What would happen if i couldn't memorize all the terms or i didn't do well? I have to get an A with a perfect score. That's really stressfull, but im not going to think about it now. just relax and have fun!!! Oh, also happy b'day Lizzie =) Later guys!

Second Te^'t missing

Chinese New Year(also 'Tet holiday' in Vietnamese) is finally tomorrow. Time passes so fast. I cant believe it's already a year. This is my 2nd 'Tet holiday' in America. I'm so disappointed. I thought New year's ceremony would be very exciting in CA, but it's totally different. Well, maybe little bit more exciting in Little Saigon. I cant wait till i can drive and have a car. I can go anywhere or visit anyone i want. I wanna go to Buddhism temple on New Year's Eve but too bad noone drive me there. Hopefully this year will be a good year for me. I dont know when i can go back Vietnam. It's seems forever. I wish there was a magic power or a magic door could bring me back to visit my family and all my friends. I miss them; i miss my city and all the holidays. :( :( I know i couldnt cry especially on New Year's days. That would bring me very bad luck for the new year. Uhm... next year is the year of dog. Will it be a good year for my age??? I should go to see some divinations! Just kidding... but my traditional horoscope said i would be successful in the future. I hope so. trust me. these horoscopes have about 80% chance of right.
Anyway, New Year is coming. May you all the best wishes from me. Hope this year will be full filled of love, luck, health and money. Happy New Year everyone! Remember try to always smile on this Sunday, next Monday and Tuesday. This will brings you lots of luck ;)

It's been awhile since my last post. My X'Mas was ok. Nothing really exciting except that my mother came. We had some fun time. School starts again for the winter session. 5 more weeks to go for this semester. But it seems forever. Anyway, i already moved to a new house. It's so so much nicer than the old ones. I'm very happy with it. If you want to send me some things. let me know. I'll give you my newest add cuz i'm going to move again this year. I hate that! Chinese New Year's coming (on 1/29). I don't even know what im gonna do to celebrate it. After that, spring semester begins. I'm kind of nervous cuz I'm goin to take Biology this spring. I've never learned Bio in U.S before. It's 1 of the requirements for my major which means i have to get an A. Should be the hard ones. Hopefully it goes well!

Thanksgiving day is almost over. Well did you have fun? I hope so! It was OK with me. It was kind of a relax day. I did anything I wanted at home, got some private time alone. You might think it would be boring. But trust me, sometimes you need to be alone. I hadn’t been like that for awhile. So I enjoyed pretty much my ’lonely Thanksgiving’. The best thing today is I finally found out the movie “The Myth“. You have no idea how much time it took me to find n download it. Finally I did, yay…! Of course with my friend’s helping. Thanks you guys =) Actually “ The Myth” is not the greatest movie I’ve ever seen. But I like it a lot. Come on, how can you miss a movie with a funny Jackie Chan, a beautiful Kim Hee Soun and bunch of famous Asian actors and actresses. Those of you who are thinking to watch “The Myth” or who have never seen any Asian movie should get this ones ;) It’s so great. All the fans of adventure, action movie would love it. But it’s little bit annoyed cuz they speak mainly in Chinese. We have to use English subtitle. The things I love most are all the beautiful scenes in the movie, all the mysteries and legends about Chinese antique Empire, stories about their life after death and even anything concerns to present life, past life and reincarnation. Sound interesting? Alright maybe I advertise the movie too much. I’ll shut my mouth now. Bye everyone! Have a good weekend.

Thanksgiving

Finally it's Thanksgiving tomorrow. Oh well, maybe it's a very fun thing to you. But nothing's exciting around here this year. I have no idea what i'm goin to do tomorrow and the rest of the week. probably staying at home watch movie and eat. Of course no feast with turkey and potato for me tomorrow night. Maybe just frozen pizza or sth like that :( I miss the feeling that family gather around a dinner table at Thanksgiving night, talk, laugh and enjoy good time. Everybody should be thankful for their families.

Anyway, i donated blood today. Not a big deal but this is my 1st time so it was weird. The bad thing is i coudn't finish cuz my vein is so little. I could only give them about half of the needed amount. It took like forever. I still feel very well now.

1st pay check

Finally i got my 1st pay check. I’d been waiting for over a month. It seemed forever... but finally... :) It came out about $290. not 2 bad for a part time job hah? i still want to get another job. but i can't =( i have lots of plan and of course i need $$$ for all of them. almost half of the money is saved for flight ticket!!! then X'Mas presents.... so much things to think about. Anyway, me and my friends r going to eat Chinese buffet this weekend to 'celebrate' my 1st pay check. wow... sounds very important. Actually it's nothing at all. We just want to find a reason to go out ;) so it could seem to be ' reasonable ' little bit.

One more thing, does anyone know where i can find or watch movie " The Myth " ? I really really want to see it. u know why? Cuz i like the movie's content, actors and actresses. Jackie Chan, Kim Hee Soon ( a very famous and pretty Korean actress) is in the movie. Also there're famous actor and actress come from India and America or Europe, i believe. So plz.. let me know if u have any information about the movie. Thx a lot !!!!!!

i woke up at 9:30 this morning after a really really long sleep. fell good now ;) this week was so so long and stretchfull. i was very tired. just want to go somewhere relaxed and of course no pressure, no school, no homework. but i know that's only a wish. Anyway, this afternoon i'll go eat Dimsum. yummy.... i'm so excited. yesterday i watched Mulan II. it makes me miss Chinese food so much. This weekend i should stay at home n relax little bit cuz i know it'll be busy next couple weeks . But i have to go out today then tomorrow. but the good thing is i don't have school next Fri. ( yay...) i don't have anyplan yet. but before that i have to get my pay check. i'm so poor now. hichichic. i should go get ready now !!!!

Halloween night

Halloween day this year was so bad n Halloween night is shuck, sad n lonely. I tried to get all the time today to study for my Math test. At last it was HORRIBLE. I don't even want to think about it. hichichic... After that, my other class was cancelled which was a good thing. It's a very very boring class. Everyone thinks they just want to get some more money from new international students by that class. Basically we just sit and think about what classes we should take. We can get that done by making 1/2 hour appointment with counselors. just waist time and money for that stupid class. Anyway, back to Halloween day, I skipped my English class to sit and chat with my friends. Today that class wouldn't be so exciting. I'm jealous with my friends. Lots of their classes are cancelled but neither of mine are. I could go out for dinner with my friends or go trick or treat but i had to work. ( I hate working on holidays) I miss Halloween from last year. It was fun. I dressed up, went to Katie's house, ate, went trick or treat and watched movie. I don't think i'll be able to do the same thing anymore... By the way i should go to bed now. Happy Halloween everyone ...

Halloween party

Finally the party was last night. It was pretty fun. I don't know if people like it but I enjoyed it pretty much! I think we had lots of food left cuz we bought lots of food and candy! But i didn't eat much :( At noon i just ate a little instant noodle and then i had to wait till 8:00pm to eat just a piece of pizza and coke at the party! that was all i ate last night! I should eat more. I was starving by the time we decorated the party! uh... it was like crazy cuz we didn't have enough time. All of us very stretched out (a lot) But it turned well at last. I didn't like my costume very much! I dressed up like a very poor Chinese girl about 100 years ago. Honestly it looked very bad but i don't care. I didn't have enough time to get ready. And it's Halloween. Nobody would care how ugly you are in a Halloween party, right? The only thing made me feel bad is that I left the party early while I supposed to help them clean up afterward. I know I was bad!!! :((

Sell Vietnamese food: alright as everyone know we'll sell Vietnamese food at Tues n Thrus ( Oct 18 n 20) so plz come and join with us. this will be fun. i think we'll sell ' sring roll ' and ' fried rice ' ( sound delicious right? ) don't worry i'm not goin to cook, just helping around. i know if i cooked, noone would buy. sad but true! this is a good chance for u to try Vietnamese food. It's sonic good! Moreover there'll be a good price for u too!

Halloween dance: will be on Friday Oct 28th, sponsored by International student club. tickets will be sold on campus from Mon - Fri ( Oct 17 - 21) hurry up, there're only 116 tickets, and ONLY 40 ones for NON -INTERNATIONAL student! this also will be supper fun. we have lots of good food, some prizes and of course surprise for Halloween!!!!! oh, an important thing - ticket price : 5$ for international student and 15$ for non-international student! hopely see u there!

Founded a dead baby in CSU

On CSU ( California Southern University) campus, they founded a dead baby boy in a box next to a trash bin. His umbilical still attached. A man called the police at 12:30 am with a really nonchalant voice. This is so horrible, especially it happened on a big and so expensive school. Does it happen often in Amrica like this? ( I mean left an infant on campus) This is a very true story. If you think I'm kidding, you can check out on this

alright, i just saw 2 movies by accident, that means other people n my friends made me watch it. i don't think i should watch them cuz i'm still a baby ( helo i'm not 18 yet). My advice to all my dear friends is " don't go watch them".

i've been working for a month. i'm workin in a cafeteria. this is really really my 1st job. acctually it's not too bad, just a little bit late. it's just boring when there's nobody there. i don't have anything to do except eatin n eatin. wow! this would help me to gain weight. (hic hic) :( but i still have to wait 1 more month to get my pay check. that's really long time. i need money now. first couple months in college is more expensive than i expected. OK, i'll stop complaining and say bye for now!!!
